CBE FC Thrash FC UJECO

CBE FC made a stunning start to the 2026 CECAFA Women’s Champions League Qualifiers, crushing FC UJECO 11-0 in a dominant display.

Commercial Bank of Ethiopia (CBE FC) began their campaign in the CECAFA Women’s Champions League Qualifiers with a huge victory over FC UJECO of Djibouti, winning 11-0.

CBE FC showed their quality and attacking strength from the opening minutes, with Emush D. scoring five goals in the 5th, 17th, 36th, 60th and 73rd minutes. Debiso Yukura added another in the 23rd minute, while Rediet Matios scored twice in the 30th and 90+1st minutes.

Girma Negash found the net in the 45+2nd minute, while Lidiya Sorsa completed her brace with goals in the 66th and 76th minutes.

The emphatic 11-0 victory gives CBE FC a strong start to their campaign and sends a clear warning to the other teams in the competition. FC UJECO, meanwhile, struggled to cope with CBE FC’s attacking pressure throughout the match.
