Nirere Xaverine of Team Amani emerged as the standout rider in the women’s and U23 cycling race, dominating the 89.9-kilometre race to claim a convincing victory.

Nirere completed the race in 3 hours, 7 minutes and 43 seconds, leaving her rivals far behind. Irakoze Neza Violette of Komera Women Cycling Team finished second, 17 minutes and 16 seconds behind, while Ntakirutimana Martha of Black Mamba Cycling Team took third place, 31 minutes and 56 seconds off the winner’s pace.

The impressive victory underlined Nirere’s growing strength and talent in cycling, as she delivered a powerful performance that saw her rise above the competition.
