KAWEMPE MUSLIM LADIES DEFEAT CBE

Kawempe Muslim Ladies FC made a winning start to the 2026 CECAFA Women’s Champions League Qualifiers, edging Commercial Bank of Ethiopia (CBE) 1-0 in a hard-fought encounter.

Both teams started the match with determination, searching for an early breakthrough. Kawempe Muslim Ladies got the crucial moment in the 11th minute, when Agnes calmly converted a penalty to give her side the lead.

CBE pushed forward in search of an equalizer, but Kawempe Muslim Ladies remained solid at the back, frustrating every attempt and protecting their narrow advantage until the final whistle.
