CBE WFC 6–1 Yei Joint Stars

CBE WFC produced a stunning performance in the CAF Women’s Champions League CECAFA Qualifiers 2026, crushing Yei Joint Stars FC 6–1 to claim the bronze medal.

CBE took control of the game and opened the scoring in the 34th minute through Etsegenet Girma, before Beshadu Tadese doubled the lead in the 41st minute. Mahelet Mitiku Bekele added a third just three minutes into the second half.

The goals kept coming as Emush Daniel Dandamo scored in the 75th minute, followed by Mihiret Ayele Abebe two minutes later. Rediet Matios completed the demolition in the 84th minute.

Yei Joint Stars managed only one goal as CBE WFC dominated from start to finish, sealing a convincing 6–1 victory and proudly taking home the bronze medal.
